Maruti Suzuki Swift Limited Edition- Price, Specification with Extra Features
Maruti Suzuki has silently launched the Swift Limited Edition at a sticker price of Rs. 5.44 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) in the country. Being available in both petrol and diesel fuel trims, Maruti Swift Limited Edition would be positioned between LXi/LDi and VXi/VDi grades. The Limited Edition model comes with several cosmetic enhancements both outside as well as inside the cabin while mechanically being the same as the standard variants. The Limited Edition diesel variant is priced at Rs. 6.39 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi).
The enhancements are purely cosmetic in nature without any change in the mechanicals. The Limited Edition variant comes with sporty looking decals that can be seen bonnet, roof, and the doors. And to make the interior match the same theme, the cabin of the Limited Edition Swift gets a sporty steering wheel and seat covers with a similar design pattern as the decals. Additionally, the infotainment system in the hatchback comes with Car Play and Android Auto connectivity options, that makes it the first on the Swift. A feature that is already available on the Dzire, Vitara Brezza, Ignis, Baleno, and S-Cross. Maruti also lists speakers with extra bass and carpet mats as other features that will be offered in this model.
The petrol engine can dish out 83bhp of max power and 115Nm of max torque, whereas the diesel engine can go up to 74bhp of top power and 190Nm of torque. Both the engines will come paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
4. Extra Features
A new infotainment system has been added to the Maruti Suzuki Swift with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, taken from premium cars by the Maruti Suzuki like Ignis, Baleno, and S-Cross. In addition to these, the Swift Limited Edition will also get speakers with extra base and floor mats, and alloy wheels.
The limited edition version can be seen as a last hurrah for the highly popular Swift. The car has time and again proved itself to be customer friendly with its sporty driving dynamics and frugal engines. The next generation model promises to take all of that a notch higher along with more equipment, better materials, and newer engines. Maruti will be revealing the new generation Swift at the Auto Expo next year, and the limited edition model is a clever way to clear stocks of the current one.
